You'll be pleased to know that we've been busy creating new products using fabulous high-quality ingredients. We're excited to introduce three wonderful products: Camelina Hand Cream, Sunkissed Camelina Massage Oil and Green Muscle Massage Oil. All three creations have one very amazing key ingredient in common: Camelina Seed Oil.
Camelina is an annual plant that is a member of the mustard family and is also known as False Flax because it can often be found growing in flax fields. In the past, camelina oil has traditionally been used for oil in lamps and as feed for livestock. Recently, this wonder-oil has been noted for its potent essential fatty acid content and is not only becoming a popular component in skin and hair care products, but is also being considered as a biofuel alternative to corn and a nutritional supplement for farm and domesticated animals.
Camelina seed oil is extremely high in both alpha-linolenic and linoleic acids which are known to help keep skin cells moist and strong, improve skin texture, boost collagen production and eliminate dryness. What we love about camelina seed oil is its ability to help repair damaged cells and increase skin elasticity; plus it has antioxidant benefits due to a high vitamin E content as well as anti-inflammatory properties. In fact when applied topically, camelina seed oil can lower pain and swelling caused by arthritis. So of course we wanted to create a collection of effective products with this impressive ingredient! Our Camelina Hand Cream also contains avocado oil which is deeply hydrating and eliminates itchy, rough, inflamed skin as well as aloe vera which is rich in nutrients and helps to firm skin and lighten blemishes. You will adore how supple and soft your skin feels after applying this cream!
Our Sunkissed Camelina Massage Oil is a blend of camelina and sweet almond oil which absorbs readily into the skin and is safe to use on sensitive skin. Sweet almond oil has also proven to be effective in treating rashes, muscle aches and extremely dry skin. This formula is beautifully scented with clementine and neroli essential oils to relax, soothe and relieve anxiety and depression.
Last but not least, Green Muscle Massage Oil. Remember that to-die-for Soapworks product called Green Muscle Cream that combines arnica, menthol crystals, ashwagandha and turmeric (and much more!) to relieve pain and inflammation of muscles and joints? Well we decided to put all of those beneficial components into a camelina seed oil base so it is able to penetrate even deeper into your tired, achy, sore parts. Your body will love you for it.
